Hey hi!, as your interested to do a diploma in Animation it’s really a good course and having good scope in future too. I am too interested for this type of courses. Now, if you seriously want to get in this course you should have good knowledge in sketches, drawings and color combination. Basically, there is 2D animation and 3D animation. 2D animation is just basic like you can use it for websites to have small flash based animation; 3D animation is actually first sketching and then actually drawing the figures on computer on vector based graphics and then making it live by performing animation skills on it. You will have bright future in this course as today’s film industry; media are in demand for animation. Here I have some good links for you, just have a look. I am sure it will help you out.
