Default Course in Filmmaking.

I have just completed my high school and ever since childhood films have fascinated me. I m very much looking out for a course in film making. I have heard a lot of negative things about this field regarding stability, and survival.
What should be my first step to enter this field. I have collected few prospectus from different universities. Still I would like to know what are the other ways of entering this field. I have heard that one should directly work under some director as an assistant without any pay of course. Any comments?

Default hey dude

hi dont get excited. What u see in the glamor world is not the reality. I think u r more interested in the glamor part. There are many aspiring film makers who get carried away by the glamor world only to regret later. If u r really talented and serious about making a career in films the I suggest u do a proper film making course and then join any film maker or any agency related to films and work on apprentice basis where u'll be paid almost nothing. After gaining experience u can get a break in film making, but even thats not easy. Just keep working hard and pray, u will definitely make it big. Luck too plays a big part in this field.

Default hi

There are various category in the film making process like editor, cameraman, director etc. u'll have to decide which field would u like to go ahead with. Accordingly u will have to apply in a reputed institute and get yourself enrolled. The fees and duration of the course depends on the category which u select. For example the duration of the course for director will be longer as compared to that of editor or a cameraman. There is a lot of competition so watch out before u take a plunge.

Default Filmmaking

Be prepared for a long struggle to achieve success or may be no success. First step, Find out a good institute offering courses in film making. Second is to assist someone as per your field in the film industry after completing the course. Third step is to go independent after gaining experience.

Hi, To become a film maker actually requires lots of guts and patience to get in this field. Many filmmakers have struggled a lot more than the success period struggling period is more. But, “try try till you succeed” this is the motivational theme the most of the film makers followed. One should have knowledge about the social media and the ideas should be creative. Film making is also an art and where there is Art; Creativity is a must because Art demands Creativity. One can get a unique platform for this field sometimes luck also matters. But the Film making course is indeed very different and interesting one to do with. After completing the course one can join any directors and get experience in the practical field and then can get a good break. As, I mentioned one should carry lots of patience.
